The Village of Strasburg is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Position is full-time, rate of pay is $ 22.55 per hour. Benefits include Police & Fire Pension, Life Insurance, and Health/Vision/Prescription Insurance. Twelve-hour shift rotation 7a-7p (every other weekend off) after completion of FTO Training. $ 750.00 annual clothing allowance, sick time, compensation time, and vacation time accrued. Applicant must be OPOTA certified and up to date on their certification in order to be considered for the position. Applicants must have a good driving record with a valid driver's license and no felony convictions and have a good moral character. Applicants that are sought to be hired will be subject to a thorough background check, medical, and polygraph examination.
